Little Kickers

Information

Hi Everyone,

Well we are ready to start the Little Kicker’s program for Kindergarten to Second Grade.  We will start next Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at St Paul’s Seminary field.

The purpose of this program is for the players to develop the basic skills needed in the game of soccer.  We will focus on ball handling skills, passing, kicking, and the basics of the game.  What we will not be focusing on is the playing organized soccer games. As the weeks go on, I will have small controlled scrimmages to explain the basic concepts and rules of the game.  Each week we will focus on a particular skill that the practice will be built around.  However, the focus will be on having fun and learning to work as a team.  I will have several assistant coaches helping with various drills.

Since we do not have many practice dates, I will be trying very hard to get every practice in, so please dress your player according to the weatherThey must have shin guards covered by socks (if they do not have shin guards they cannot participate), spikes if they have them (if not that is ok).

I will be communicating via the school website.  If I do have to cancel, I will post it on the web page as soon as possible.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns.

I will be communicating using email but also check the school website for messages, I will post them there. If I do have to cancel I will email everyone as soon as possible. Hopefully I will not need to do this!!!!
Since I am using email, I am asking you to email me back so I know you has received this email.  Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
