St. Margaret of Scotland School is a parish-sponsored school in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. We follow all directives and policies set forth by the Secretariat of Education for the Diocese of Pittsburgh. We meet all requirements of the Department of Education for the State of Pennsylvania and maintain our accreditation with the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. For more information, visit www.ces-msa.org. The primary responsibility for decision-making rests at the parish level with the Pastor and the Principal.
Though not part of the governance, the PTG adds vitality to the community spirit, which exists at St. Margaret of Scotland School and helps to nurture the environment overseen by the Pastor and Principal. The PTG meets eight times per school year, including four open meetings.
