Facilities

Our school and parish are located in Pittsburgh’s South Hills Borough of Green Tree. Our buildings are all on the same property with a common parking lot connecting them. There are 17 classrooms in the school. These include 15 homerooms, a computer lab, and a Spanish classroom on the main level. The main office is located on this level. The lower level includes a library, music area, cafeteria and gymnasium. The gymnasium was renovated and rededicated in August 2003.

Teachers on duty supervise students during recess and at both arrival and dismissal. A school safety policy is implemented which includes identifying visitors through a buzzer system at the main door. All visitors are required to wear a nametag during their visit at the school.

After-school care is available to children grades K-8 until 6 p.m. at an hourly rate, which is billed to the family’s home each month.

A comprehensive crisis plan was developed during the summer of 2004. This was a joint venture between Green Tree police, Bethel Park police, Keystone Oaks School District and the Diocese of Pittsburgh. It became effective in August 2004.
