Basically, its a gift card for a local store that earns a profit for the school and your child receives tuition credit. The stores determine what percentage they will give back to SMOSS, and the amounts are designated on the order form.
These programs are an easy way for both the school and its families to help achieve the schools fundraising goal and lower your tuition bill at the same time. Our program is designated to contribute the profit percentage for each certificate towards your families fundraising goal. Dozens of local stores participate in these programs, including Giant Eagle, Shop-N-Save, Toys R Us, Starbucks and Wendys. Also included in the list are JCPenney, Kohls, Eat N Park and Pizza Hut.
