Tuition & Fees

St. Margaret of Scotland School is an important parish ministry that emphasizes academic excellence in a value-oriented Catholic environment. Because significant expenditures are necessary to provide such quality education, it is necessary to charge tuition and to seek compliance with the payment schedule. Parents enrolling their children in the school are expected to fulfill this responsibility.

The amount of tuition is determined annually based upon budget projection for the upcoming school year. A payment coupon booklet will be provided to each family in June before the start of the new school year. Payments shall be made monthly over a 10 or 12-month period, with installments due on the first of each month.

Tuition is divided into two categories: Parish and Non-affiliated. Pre-school tuition is separate from Kindergarten through eighth grade tuition. Consideration is given to families having more than one child enrolled in Kindergarten through eighth grade.

A review of all tuition and activity accounts shall be made on a semester basis. We reserve the right to question the presence of any student within the school whose fees are not current. If problems should occur with payment of the fees, an appointment should be made with the business manager.

Any unpaid fees from previous years must be resolved prior to the acceptance of enrollment for the next school year. Unpaid fees at the end of the school year could result in withholding of report cards and transcripts. Matters regarding the non-payment of fees or financial difficulties of a family will be held in strictest confidence.
